City joins forces with UBSport

Performance of the month - July 2010

Alys BrooksThis month’s recipient we are proud to announce is Alys Brooks, final year Sociology student. Alys is a true inspiration to not other scholars but all other sports persons at the university. Alys entered the incredibly strong University of Birmingham Women’s Hockey team three years ago, and although made some inroads into the first team, she by no means a regular starter. Since they she has made tremendous progressions a  player, and was this season a stalwart on the BUCS championship winning team seeing her university career out in the very best of fashions.
